Project 4000 – KEEPING IT A MILLI IN THE 4000

Recently J.Crew and New Balance teamed up together to create a collection of two sneakers to sit on the shelves of the renowned US retailer’s “Liquor Store”. The first images to surface were off the 1400MG, a colourway that has been around since the 90s. Needless to say I went all nerdy and immediately dismissed this whole concept as a pointless exercise in ridding excess stock from NB’s warehouses, but alas I was proven wrong when out came a navy blue colourway which is completely new to the lineup and I like ’em.

What’s better is they made a video and took some shots of the Skowhegan production line which can be seen after the jump. Meanwhile you can pick up the shoes online from J.Crew’s site.
