The man, the mystery, the accent, the infectious laughter and just all around top guy MEGA debuted some of his latest art work at a gallery showing post day one Forums of Carbon held at the Atrium in Federation Square. He was by far one of the nicest realest guys I met on my trip, was just so open to conversations and just had a dope energy.

Futura graces the covers of Acclaim Magazine’s 23rd Issue, Mr. 2000 is photographed working in his studio shot by his son Timothy McGurr aka 13th Witness. This issue concentrates on the locale of New York, featuring Wes Lang, Erik Foss, Ricky Powell, Yuri Masnyj, Noah Callahan-Bever, Brian Woodward, Marley Kate and more. Be aware that Futura will be at the Carbon series of talks taking place this April in Melbourne.

Between April 29th and May 1st, Melbourne’s Federation Square will play host to Carbon, an event that brings together some of today’s most interesting creative minds to present, discuss and share their experiences with local audiences via a series of four discussion forums, each focused on a specific aspect of contemporary street fashion, design and culture.

Speakers include Futura, Noah Callahan-Bever editor in chief of Complex Magazine, Bobby Hundreds, Matt Thomas of the highly successful Highs And Lows, Frank Liew and Greg Rivera- Founder of highly successful street label Mishka.

FEIYUE AUSTRALIAN LAUNCH – No Vacancy Melbourne by Taz

In their ongoing spirit of creative collaboration, four Australian artists have been invited to create their own Feiyue reinventions to exhibit alongside the Asian installations at the Australian Launch this February. Australian artists involved are Brisbane artist Haw and Drewfunk, Tom Vincent and Prizm all from Melbourne.
