Since this piece of cotton got this “T” cut in the early Fifties, the T-Shirt has been propelled to the cornerstone symbol of pop culture. Throughout the world, billions of people wear T-Shirts every day. However the secrets behind this global fashion phenomena are still unknown by most. T-Shirt Stories is the first account of the underlying culture, history, business and personalities that surround the T-Shirt and fuel this fashion revolution.
The production team behind this film takes the viewer on a journey from London to Los Angeles and from Tokyo to Paris to reveal the history, talk with graphic design legends and shed the light on all sorts of activism that used T-Shirts to spread messages and grow alongside freedom movements.
– T, this is airing on Canal+ in the coming days, will come out on DVD soon

Looking good. Reminds me of that other French documentary ‘Sneakers, le culte des baskets’ released some years ago.
