Over 150 entries from all over the world later, and the Design a 574 Competition is done and dusted. With the Top 10 Australian entries judged on Friday night, the finalists were put to a public vote at the Swap & Cop and the winners were clear. First place was taken by ex-pat American Kalin Thompson, whose entry wowed the masses with huge amounts of detail put into every panel of his creation, dubbed “Carrot Cowboy”.

Thanks to all the entrants, we were overwhelmed with the response from you guys. Big ups to New Balance Australia for making it all possible and coming to the party with awesome prizes and a wicked display on the day.

– P4,

The prizes on offer from New Balance Australia:

Third place went to Fixie GC‘s Bennet Rust, inspired by his love of tight lycra shorts and sweaty dudes.

Second place was taken out by another Gold Coast based artist; Sam Horn.

Finally, the winner…

A better look at the winning entries…

Congratulations also to our winning international entry from Greg Solenstrom, who not only put a crap load of work into his entry but also made a video to show us the amount of time involved in creating this entry.
