We here at P4 are big fans of Dita eyewear; Taz sports both the optical and sun line, whilst my non-wussy eyesight allows me to do without optical lenses for now. Anyway, if anyone can comment on the hand crafted excellence that is a Dita frame it’s us. Many people don’t know, but Dita’s hand-made frames are one of the last left in the sunglass industry, with most of the ‘big’ companies moving to mass production out of Italy, whilst Dita remains in Japan having 65 year old craftsmen painstakingly create every single frame over a time frame spanning 6-12 months.

The actual reason for this post is to inform you of the new sunglass frames the brand has launched. The Charger and Sig feature heavy use of fine acetates, keeping in theme with the way trends have moved the last few years, whilst the womens Marseilles shows off an intricate and elegant retro look. Read below for Dita’s Press Release.

A frame that drove our manufacturer crazy due to the production difficulty. After a year of revisions it has finally reached the perfection that all DITA frames require. A thermoformed front frame with an intergraded brow bar cut from one single sheet of quality Acetate. The Charger is another original design that will remain a classic for years to come.

Carrying the torch of originality and quality that make DITA sunglasses the most sought after frames in the world, the Sig is surely to be seen on the faces of the worlds most glamorous. Boasting radical skives with horizontal details and Titanium end pieces the Sig will be another must have for fall. Brought to you by your friends at DITA.

The successor to the extremely popular Wonderlust, The Marseilles evokes images of the beautiful port city in France that it is named after. From sunbathing on the beach or cruising the ocean on a yacht the word glamorous is just not enough to describe this frame. With its seductive curves and enamel inlay all forged in Titanium, the Marseilles will want you to pack your bags. Bon Voyage!
